| The WILCAN IS-05 electronic scale protector is a unique device which allows for the transmission of normal 60Hz power, but blocks the passage of lightning energy, even in the thousands of volts. Energy levels above normal line voltage will simply not be passed, they are blocked and reflected to earth where they are harmlessly dissipated. CSA approved and ULC listed.
